Vinyl Control

Deckadance Club edition can be controlled with a mouse, MIDI controller and most (if not all) timecoded vinyl & CD systems, via our 'autolearning' function. Deckadance has been tested with timecode vinyls & CDs from msPinky, Stanton FinalScratch, MixVibes, Serato Scratch Live, Virtual DJ, PCDJ Reflex & Torq. New formats are constantly being added to the list so let us know if you want support for a system not listed.

We distinguish between absolute mode (where you control the speed & direction of playback, can scratch, use needle dropping and jump track position, all from the vinyl) and relative mode (where you control the speed & direction of playback, can scratch, but without needle dropping or track position functions).

Stanton FinalScratch Vinyls & CDs operate in relative mode.

msPinky Vinyls & CDs  operate in relative & absolute mode.

Serato Scratch Live Vinyls & CDs operate in relative mode.

Torq vinyls & CDs are   operate in relative & absolute mode.

MixVibes Vinyls & CDs operate in relative mode.

Reflex vinyls & CDs  operate in relative & absolute mode.

Note: Deckadance Club edition is required to use Vinyl and CD control.
